Nova Scotia

Recreation Nova Scotia (RNS) is celebrating its 10th anniversary and preparing to launch the fifth annual June is Recreation Month (JRM) campaign!

The purpose of the campaign is to raise awareness among Nova Scotians of all ages and abilities of the benefits of recreation and leisure to their quality of life.  The campaign theme Recreation: Live It Everyday! reinforces the message of how important it is for all of us to participate in some form of recreation or leisure activity each and every day.

Activities of all kinds, not just physical, are acknowledged and celebrated.

Involvement in recreational activities leads to a healthy lifestyle and contributes to a healthy Nova Scotia.  Celebrating June as Recreation Month is an exciting way to increase awareness and celebrate the benefits of recreation.
