Welcome to the section of the national SummerActive site that details what’s going on in each of Canada’s provinces and territories.

By clicking on the province or territory of your choice from the list below, you will be able to:

  • Access contact information for a local SummerActive representative who can give you more information about events and programs in your region;
  • Discover highlights about the SummerActive initiative in a particular province or territory; and
  • Search for fun and interesting SummerActive events and programs that you might want to try in a specific community.


Note:  All provincial and territorial government departments responsible for sport, physical activity, and recreation, except for the Government of Quebec, are partners in SummerActive.  While concurring with the objectives of SummerActive, the Government of Quebec is pursuing the implementation of its own action plan in these areas.  However, residents of Quebec are able to access all SummerActive information via the national SummerActive Web site (www.summeractive.ca) and they are also able to register their participation in order to be eligible for incentive prizes.
